  Poor check in as the bar is also used for the bedroom checkin when we arrived the people using the bar took priority over us trying to check in even though we qued fairly. The room was extremely small definately not worth the £85 we didnt sleep at all as the matress was so hard. However it was all nice and clean.
  Breakfast was ok it was a great shame that we had to hear the staff talking quite loudly negative things about the management and collegues very unprofessional.
  We would not stay again it is a shame the Boathouse hotel could be so much more.

  We had a great room on the top floor with a nice view of the sea. It had a lovely bathroom which was massive.The only down side was the room got very warm so all the windows were open throughout our stay. A standard continental breakfast was included which was nice. You can pay for a cooked breakfast if you like. We also ate in the restaurant for dinner which had excellent service and good food. We can easily recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend away.

  The Boathouse is located right by the marina in Hythe for a peaceful setting. Rooms are on the smaller side, but perfectly equiped and clean. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. We had to leave before breakfast was served in after our second night and the staff made us a breakfast packed lunch. Would recommend this hotel to others staying in the area.
